PROSPECTUS

I. Authority

The Metro Table Tennis League, in cooperation with Club Six Fifty will organize the 1st Felipe G. Pigao Memorial Cup MTTL Team Championship as tribute to late Felipe G.“ Pigao.

He was the former coach of Philippines’ table tennis legends like Rey Domingo, Hector Cabrido, Benito Lim, Nestor Ferre, Oscar Santelices, Tacky Santelices, Luisa Espino, Beth Bernardo, Gerly Ibañez, Emma de Guzman, Melita Bauto, Nida Saligumba, the late Jaime Ibañez & Bitoy Asis and other nationals like Jet Yatco, Danny Panaguiton, Mario Breiva, Antonio Aguinalde, Julius Y. Esposo, Jon-Jon Flores, Josie Sinaban, Rowena Malaya, Susan Tayag and more.

II. Event & Eligibility

Team Competition a team shall be composed of 2 two players regardless of gender as follows:

Level: (A + C), (B + B), (B + C), or (C + C)

Please refer to the attached classification of players. Players who are not on the list should submit their names to the undersigned for classification. Leveling Committee are composed of the following:

III. Rules

• The Tournament shall be conducted with the combination of Round Robin and Knockout system in accordance with the current rules of the International Table Tennis Federation as modified or complemented by this prospectus.

• Team Competition shall be played in accordance with Davis Cup:

2 vs. 2

1 & 2 vs. 1 & 2 (Doubles)

IV. Awards

Champion:	Cup + 2 Medals	P20, 000 Cash
Vice Champion	Trophy + 2 Medals	P 8, 000 Cash
(2) Runner-up	Trophy + 2 Medals	P 4, 000 Cash

Losing Quarter Finalists will be given P2, 000 as gratuity.

V. Entry Fee

P2, 000 per Team

Inclusive of Uniforms, Event T-Shirt, and Competition Balls:

2 Two ACCEL Polo Shirts

2 Two Event T-Shirts

6 Pcs. ITTF Approved 3 Star Balls

Uniforms will come with printed Team logo and Players name for Team Entries that will be received on or before July 31, 2008.

VI. Deadline of Submission of Entries

Entries must be received on or before August 15, 2008, 5:00PM by fax or email.

VII. Draw

The draw will be made by the Referee at 9:00AM August 16-17, 2008, Club Six Fifty.

VIII. Umpires

Volunteer Umpires will control all the matches. In case of a controversy, the Referee may appoint a National/International Umpire to control a match upon request of the opposing players.
